Heartland Ag and AG Systems Announce Merger; Becomes Largest North American Case IH Distibutor

Heartland Ag (Ames, IA) and AG Systems (Hutchinson, MN) have announced a merger of the two organizations effective March 1, 2019. Combined, they become Case IH’s largest North American Commercial Application Equipment Distributor. The new organization has nine locations and covers Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and parts of Colorado, Wyoming, and Michigan. The combined entity will be called Heartland AG Systems.

Bill Oltean, President of Heartland Ag, says “Our strategic plan focuses on growth of our business across the grain belt for the benefit of our vendors, customers, and employees. This is a big step toward that goal. With Case IH, we have the best brand in the Commercial Application equipment business.”
