FROM KCCI: Story County Emergency Management warns of vaccination phone scams

STORY COUNTY, Iowa — Story County Emergency Management warned residents of phone scams related to COVID-19 vaccination. According to a news release, the department received reports of residents receiving calls asking for health insurance and personal information. The calls appear to come from local phone numbers. “It’s unfortunate, but not unexpected, that scammers are using something like the vaccination program as a ploy to get money or personal data from people,” said Keith Morgan, with Story County Emergency Management. “These scammers can make it appear they are calling from almost any phone number so everyone needs to be vigilant when receiving any phone call.” READ MORE FROM KCCI

Sedona satisfaction: Boeschen’s Kia van is exactly what he needs

That’s why Boeschen and his wife, Sandra, own a maroon, 2016 Kia Sedona LX they bought used with 24,000 miles on it. While it may not have leather seats and all the bells and whistles new models have, it gets them from point A to point B comfortably, and that’s all they need.
