Welcome to the Friday mailbag, where you will find comments, questions and ideas that were sent recently by many of you.
“Who knew toenails (March 8, 2022) would become such a job years later? And me dealing with Medicare folks, how many are plain mad Medicare won’t pay for just a trim?” – Diane
Bingo. And let’s not even talk about ear hair. - Shane
“I always have Psalm 23 Stuart Townend 2013 Integrity Music playing in my head. I set up my phone alarm with that song. Thanks for keeping your editorials to smiles (March 10, 2022). I prefer not to have my blood pressure raised so early in the morning.” - Donna
Thanks, Donna. I am for low blood pressure, too. - Shane
“Looks as though I have a new song to sing every morning (March 10, 2022). Though I am more partial to the theme song to ‘Oklahoma.’ Insert Oprahoma as you see fit. There are 2 phrases that I repeat at work when someone asks how’s my day. ‘I’m alright. It’s the world that’s all wrong.” And ‘I don’t have bad days; some are just better than others.’ Attitudes are contagious! Thanks for the awesome read this morning!” - Jimmy
Well, as Oprah once said, “If you want your life to be more rewarding, you have to change the way you think.” Thanks for the note, Jimmy. - Shane
“Shane, thank you for your uplifting emails and positivity every day in a world that could use a lot more of this kindness (March 10, 2022). Unfortunately, we will always have hatred, violence, disease, etc. in our fallen world, but reading your positive words and knowing that there are WAY more positive people in the world than negative always puts a smile on my face. Yes…that song will be stuck in my head all day! Thank you!” - Kim
Kim, I have a wonderful feeling that everything’s going your way. - Shane
“Growing up, family drives (March 14, 2022) were just a part of the week and usually included ice cream — banana split on rare occasions! At our house, COVID brought back some ‘drives around the neighborhood.’ We just needed to get out. We have continued the drives, so far, but not as far now, as gas prices have us watching the gas gauge.” - Diane
We may have to resort to walking. - Shane
Have a fantastic Friday, and thanks for reading.
