A Joint Venture to Enable the Future

AgriVision Equipment and PrairieLand Partners announced that effective January 3, 2022, they are entering into a joint venture, pending Deere & Company approval. This partnership will enhance the organizations’ shared commitment to deliver superior service, innovative solutions and help all customers maximize the return on their investments in equipment and technology.

Both AgriVision Equipment and PrairieLand Partners will continue to operate under their
current brands, and customers will continue to work with the same people at their
local dealerships.

The long-awaited $1 trillion infrastructure bill passed the U.S. House on Friday night and heads to President Joe Biden’s desk for his signature. The Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act includes $550 billion in new funding over five years as well as reauthorizes increased transportation funding through 2026.
 
European Union officials and the Biden administration brokered a deal that will ease tariffs on E.U. steel and aluminum imports into the U.S. while eliminating retaliatory duties from the E.U. on several U.S. goods, including U.S. Corn. "This is an important step for America's corn farmers and a step toward restoring our trading relationship with the European Union," said NCGA President Chris Edgington.
 
Parts and components that U.S. farmers need to keep combines running in the busiest farming season of the year are taking as many as three weeks to reach customer hands -- an eternity when fields need to be quickly harvested to stay ahead of wintry weather, according to dealers and customers in the industry.
